Company History<\/h1>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]It all began in the ear\u00adly 1980s that Elprojektbyr\u00e5n M\u00f6ller &<\/span> Olson AB need\u00aded a sep\u00ada\u00adrate elec\u00adtri\u00adcal appli\u00adca\u00adtion for elec\u00adtri\u00adcal engi\u00adneer\u00ading con\u00adstruc\u00adtion, then to AutoCAD ver 1.2 and for inter\u00adnal use with\u00adin the com\u00adpa\u00adny. We were ear\u00adly with that kind of pro\u00adgram and many oth\u00ader com\u00adpa\u00adnies in the indus\u00adtry became very inter\u00adest\u00aded. We then decid\u00aded to form a new com\u00adpa\u00adny, PROCAD Systems AB for mar\u00adket\u00ading, sales of the pro\u00adgram and to dis\u00adtin\u00adguish it from the elec\u00adtri\u00adcal busi\u00adness. The pro\u00adgram was named ELPROCAD.<\/strong><\/p>\n

At ELFACK in the fall of 1985, the pro\u00adgram was shown com\u00admer\u00adcial\u00adly for the first time. The pro\u00adgram imme\u00addi\u00adate\u00adly received a good response for its work method\u00adol\u00ado\u00adgy. Initially, as a pure\u00adly draw\u00ading pro\u00adgram, pro\u00adgram devel\u00adop\u00adment con\u00adtin\u00adued with fea\u00adtures for device lists 1986, auto\u00admat\u00adic con\u00adnec\u00adtion tables 1987, then in col\u00adlab\u00ado\u00adra\u00adtion with Dikon Recognition Systems AB.<\/p>\n

With AutoCAD\u2019s pop\u00adu\u00adlar\u00adi\u00adty and increas\u00ading func\u00adtion\u00adal\u00adi\u00adty, it also cre\u00adat\u00aded new fea\u00adtures in ELPROCAD, adapt\u00ading to new oper\u00adat\u00ading, lat\u00adest DOS, Windows, Sun.<\/p>\n

Through a fruit\u00adful com\u00adbi\u00adna\u00adtion of pro\u00adfes\u00adsion\u00adal expe\u00adri\u00adence in elec\u00adtri\u00adcal engi\u00adneer\u00ading and qual\u00adi\u00adfied com\u00adput\u00ader pro\u00adgram\u00adming, the devel\u00adop\u00adment of the pro\u00adgram fam\u00adi\u00adly continued.<\/p>\n

When Autodesk intro\u00adduced a cheap\u00ader ver\u00adsion of its pro\u00adgram, AutoCAD LT, the sale of AutoCAD LT togeth\u00ader with ELPROCAD real\u00adly boosted.<\/p>\n

We also made an appli\u00adca\u00adtion to a CAD pro\u00adgram called Generic Cadd, which was also wide\u00adly dis\u00adtrib\u00aduted. This pro\u00adgram was sub\u00adse\u00adquent\u00adly pur\u00adchased by Autodesk.<\/p>\n

In addi\u00adtion to our pro\u00adgrams that work with AutoCAD \/ AutoCAD LT, we released 2004 a pro\u00adgram that works with a built-in CAD engine (IntelliCAD \/ BricsCAD), name\u00adly ELPROCAD ic Basic and ELPROCAD ic Pro. They were intend\u00aded for com\u00adpa\u00adnies who want\u00aded a com\u00adplete pro\u00adgram with both elec\u00adtri\u00adcal appli\u00adca\u00adtion and CAD pro\u00adgrams more inte\u00adgrat\u00aded, at a good price.<\/p>\n

So far, we had only pro\u00adgrams for schemat\u00adic writ\u00ading, such as cir\u00adcuit dia\u00adgram, main cir\u00adcuit dia\u00adgram, exter\u00adnal con\u00adnec\u00adtion dia\u00adgram, assem\u00adbly draw\u00ading and single-line dia\u00adgram. Over the years, we had received a lot of requests to make an appli\u00adca\u00adtion for instal\u00adla\u00adtion drawings.<\/p>\n

We decid\u00aded on this in 2006 and after a very inten\u00adsive devel\u00adop\u00adment work, we released ELPROCAD ic Plan in 2008. The pro\u00adgram allows the most com\u00admon types of instal\u00adla\u00adtion draw\u00adings, canal\u00adi\u00adsa\u00adtion, pow\u00ader, light\u00ading instal\u00adla\u00adtions and telecommunications.<\/p>\n

Now we had a com\u00adplete pro\u00adgram fam\u00adi\u00adly for dif\u00adfer\u00adent types of elec\u00adtri\u00adcal engi\u00adneer\u00ading and CAD plat\u00adforms. In addi\u00adtion, we had pro\u00adgrams with dif\u00adfer\u00adent func\u00adtion\u00adal lev\u00adels for the dif\u00adfer\u00adent needs that com\u00adpa\u00adnies have. Now you could real\u00adly talk about the ELPROCAD family.<\/p>\n

Now we con\u00adtin\u00adue the devel\u00adop\u00adment of our pro\u00adgram fam\u00adi\u00adly to meet our cus\u00adtomers\u2019 cur\u00adrent and future needs.<\/p>\n

In 2015, we com\u00adplet\u00aded 30 years, while at the same time a change of own\u00ader\u00adship and gen\u00ader\u00ada\u00adtional change were made in the staff. So with new strengths, we con\u00adtin\u00adue to be the best friend of the electrician.<\/p>\n
