A Service Agreement can only be pur\u00adchased for a per\u00adma\u00adnent license that has pre\u00advi\u00adous\u00adly been pur\u00adchased separately.
As long as the Service Agreement is valid, there are no sep\u00ada\u00adrate costs for soft\u00adware updates and prod\u00aduct sup\u00adport. This means an even cost break\u00addown over sev\u00ader\u00adal years and a low\u00ader total cost for con\u00adtin\u00adu\u00adous soft\u00adware upgrades.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=\u201cWhy do you intro\u00adduce Service Agreements?\u201d]Many cus\u00adtomers have turned to us and wish\u00ading that we offer Service Agreements to pro\u00advide a pre\u00addictable annu\u00adal cost for ELPROCAD. Changes to the agree\u00adments with our part\u00adners \/ sub\u00adcon\u00adtrac\u00adtors Bricsys \u2122 (which man\u00adu\u00adfac\u00adtures BricsCAD \u00a9) and Autodesk \u00a9 (which man\u00adu\u00adfac\u00adtures AutoCAD \u2122) requires us to change our own con\u00adtrac\u00adtu\u00adal forms.
This applies espe\u00adcial\u00adly to all net\u00adwork licens\u00ades. Subscription agree\u00adments with Autodesk \u00a9 require a faster offer of new ELPROCAD ver\u00adsions that are com\u00adpat\u00adi\u00adble with the lat\u00adest ver\u00adsion of AutoCAD \u2122\u2009\u2014\u2009the need to cre\u00adate a match\u00ading ser\u00advice agree\u00adment for ELPROCAD xt (AutoCAD \u2122 based) user[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=\u201cDoes your Service Agreement mean that you go the same way as Autodesk\u2019s sub\u00adscrip\u00adtion agree\u00adment (lease agreement)?\u201d]No the oppo\u00adsite. Autodesk has stopped sell\u00ading per\u00adma\u00adnent licens\u00ades and now only sells sub\u00adscrip\u00adtions where the right to use the appli\u00adca\u00adtion dis\u00adap\u00adpears if the sub\u00adscrip\u00adtion ends.
Autodesk thus stops sell\u00ading Maintenance Agreements with exist\u00ading Permanent License and only sells sub\u00adscrip\u00adtions. With the intro\u00adduc\u00adtion of Service Agreement, ELPROCAD has gone to offer a Maintenance Agreement (which Autodesk now no longer offers). An ELPROCAD license with a Service Agreement is still a per\u00adma\u00adnent license.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=\u201cDo We Have To Sign Service Agreements For Our ELPROCAD Licenses?\u201d]For ELPROCAD IC Single Licenses, Service Agreement is a prefer\u00adable option, but not a require\u00adment to con\u00adtin\u00adue upgrad\u00ading per\u00adma\u00adnent licens\u00ades. You can renew Single Licenses by pur\u00adchas\u00ading upgrade to the lat\u00adest ver\u00adsion, rather than access\u00ading upgrades through a Service Agreement.
